The man behind the hog.

Well since Ashlie got married and has her own 2 blogs to worry about, I guess I will take over....which actually, if you think about it, is kinda ridiculous because I hate responsibility. And I will most likely forget about this until the next time it snows. But, you know, whateber.

So HEY! It's snowing! (When I say snowing, I mean icing.) And we've had TWO SNOW DAYS IN A ROW. Which is a record for us Texans. But the downside is that, for me(a homeschooler and an avid student), it just means that it's freezing cold outside and there's no dance. I don't exactly see that as a reason for celebration and I certainly won't be outside throwing ice pellets anytime soon.

The NEWEST Addition.

Well, it's official. ASHLIE IS GETTING MARRIED! (aka I am getting married...since I am the only one who posts or even looks at this blog. haha.) Michael will have a brother, finally--and he is REALLY excited about it. And the Lohner name will become a middle name and replaced in its ultimate position by DANCE. Thought maybe marriage would get you out of a name that could create endless humor for everyone you tell it to at your expense? WRONG. At least I won't have to repeat myself when everyone asks my last name because there isn't anything offensive about saying Dance. (not that there is anything offensive about saying Lohner...I guess if you are just sensitive, what can you do?)

So, my family is not very good at this thing. I think it is time for improvement. Maybe I should start by taking pictures...that would be good.

This summer...

1. Marcee, Mike, and Ashlie went to San Fransisco for Hoopla
2. Michael stayed at home and had a vacation from us
3. Corinne and Chandler went to ballet camp in Vermont for 2 weeks
4. Marcee and Ashlie went to Quebec City while the girls were at camp (SUCKERS!!)
5. Ashlie recorded 4 songs (with more to come) and is finishing up all of the editing business
6. We didn't use the boat enough
7. Brittni (our cousin) got married--the first of the Pearson grandchildren!
8. Matthew left on his mission--best decision he has made
9. Michael has been honing his XBox360 skills
10. and started piano lessons
11. Chandler turned 12 and finally moved out of her primary class at church!
12. We have consumed more soda and peanut butter crackers than is probably healthy
13. Michael dominated all of Ashlie's friends at water basketball
14. Corinne decided to be home schooled
15. Mike decided to stop working so much...and is so far unsuccessful

Things to look forward to...
1. Thanksgiving with the Pearsons!!!

Well, it's the middle of the night...again...and Corinne and I just finished changing Chandler's profile picture on facebook.  You've got to check it out.  It's a pretty hilarious picture!  Today was fairly uneventful: dance, workout, groceries, and snow.  SNOW?  Yes, snow in Texas in March!  Crazy!

Oh, and we made some really adorable cupcakes.  They are a little bit top heavy, but it doesn't really matter because they look cute and taste great!

P.s.  It is 2:24 am and our dad is STILL on the phone negotiating a deal.  Should we have an intervention?
